There is a significant difference in whether you self-publish, traditionally publish, or DIY your publishing experience. Infinity Author Services will help to get you to the point of pushing publish, but we do NOT publish your book. We are not a publishing company, nor do we do anything in the vein of vanity publishing (which is a bad deal anyway).

We are the PRETTIER side of book creation. We design the cover art, help with your editing, proofing, and formatting. We create eye-catching graphics for your social media, and even do a little promotion for you, as well.

If any of that sounds like what you really want, then leave us a comment, drop a contact form, and let us know how we can better serve you.

We work hard with a writer’s budget, too. Those pay-for-pages-read pennies you receive have to add up for all the costs it takes to make a book and get it out into the wide-world-web and beyond. You would be better off writing and leave the back-end work to us.

We understand at Infinity Author Services, and we want to help. Go right now over to our packages and information page to see what we offer. Let us know what you need and let us give you a quote.

Meet Kim Smith, Infinity Author Services very own CEO! She’s a mystery author, graphic designer, as well as a mighty promotions magnet, and her energy turns all the wheels at IAS. As she haunts these hallowed halls, her writing cred goes on.

Kim is the author of eleven published works, including the zany mystery series featuring Shannon Wallace. Her reviews show how readers get attached to her characters. She also has an award winning time travel for young adults entitled An Unexpected Performance. It is a hit for all ages.

She is owned by a four-pound Chihuahua named Darby Doolittle, who will appear sometimes in her social media feeds. That’s only to appease the beast, as she can get quite snippy when ignored. Kim is also a big fan of Doctor Who with the tenth incarnation being her absolute favorite and she watches Chesapeake Shores when she has time. She says she wants to have less and less time for tv shows and hopes you will use her services to facilitate that loss.

Kim is often seen at local writing events with her writing buddies, and also many of the creative writing cons around the country. If you should see the Infinity Author Services table, please do stop by and say hi!

Welcome to the Writing Life

writing life

Meet our August author, Leslie Hachtel

Share about yourself

I have been a gypsy most of my life and I’ve lived all over the country. I have also held numerous jobs, including licensed veterinary technician and horseback riding instructor for the disabled. I even owned a breakfast catering company that supplied NBC in Burbank. But writing has always been my passion. Now, thankfully, I can work at writing full time.

Share about your work

I love to write in several genres. History fascinates me and I really enjoy the research. But I am also intrigued by the paranormal. And I love a good murder story. So, I alternate my genres.

Tell us about your writing style

I am a pantser. I come up with an idea and a place and I create characters to tell the story. From there, the story seems to flow naturally. If you know your hero and heroine, you know how they will react in situations. The same goes for the people around them.

What do you find challenging about the writing life?

Marketing and most of the business side of writing. I love the writing itself.

If you could write from any place on earth, where would you choose to write from?

That’s easy. A castle in England. Or Scotland or Ireland…What a fantastic way to get in the mood to write historical novels.

When asked to set goals, what do you see for yourself or current WIP in five years with your writing?

In five years, I should have published at least ten more books.

What are you reading right now?

I am actually reading several books now.  “Unwritten” by Charles Martin, “”Andersonville” by MacKinlay Kantor and “Kitchen Confidential” by Anthony Bourdain.

Who is your favorite author?

Kathleen Woodiwiss is my favorite, but I also love Kristan Higgins and Susanna Kearsley and many others.

Give a bit of advice for an aspiring author.

Don’t quit. That’s the best advice of all.
